Themes List

The biggest part of my four section system (letters and numbers, themes, calendar, and rainbow) is themes. 

 Here is the start of my themes list:

Animals
Baby
Birthday
Bling and Buttons
Borders and tags
Camping/Outdoors
Crafts
Disney
Doctor/Dentist
Food
Games
Heritage/Family
Home
Music/Theater
Quotes/Titles
School
Shapes
Sports
Travel
Wedding/Love

My themes list is a work in progress and everyone's themes list will be different based on how you find your stuff and what types of product you have.  Here is my ScrapRack with two base units almost full.  I am going to end up with three base units total, but that is as big as I plan on getting.  I will just have to use up some stuff quickly so I can make it all fit.


After filling the pages that I had, I refilled my bin and then filled more organizational pages.

 I have found though that the key is to just sort stuff from one box, bin, stack, or bag at a time.  It really keeps it from being overwhelming.  Please know that I started this process back in January and compared to other people that I know I don't have a lot.  I probably have a medium amount of products as compared to other crafters.  All I can say is keep working at it and it will get done.  Even having some of my stuff organized has helped me find things significantly quicker than before I started organizing.

    Hi, Jennifer. So glad to find your blog. I should be getting my ScrapRack in the mail tomorrow, and will start sorting after Christmas. Right now, though, I have some other tasks I can do in the car on the way to family visits. For instance, I know I am re-doing my Cricut cartridge storage, so I'm taking my booklets along and ripping out all the foreign language instruction pages out of each one. Also, I have a stack of Scrapbook magazines I'm going through and tearing out layout ideas. Keep up the good work and keep us posted!

    That sounds like a great place to start. I love to take my laptop in the car on long rides and organize my digital photos.

    you need to fix your blog so that people can follow you. I have a blog and love to see how many people venture thru. I know that a lot of people would love to be able to follow as you make your way thru the organizational process. Please share updates with us. I am on the orgainzaiotnal facebook page.     Thanks for sharing this OMG... now I know where to start...as far as what to sort it into... I was going to go into three bins but Nope I have a nice long box and I will sort my categories into that. I am doing the spring fling organization.
    Cant wait to start sorting I am at the first challenge which is preparing for the sorting. I am so excited to do this.. and what a relief.. you probably know but it is so overwhelming trying to do anything right now with all my stuff in separate containers teh worst problem being the problem and having to open every paper container to find what i am looking for and we wont even go into embellishments LOL! And I have hardly anything compared to most people I know.
